History
KTH chess club was founded in 2017 but has had periods of inactivity since then. It was restarted in 2025 and the newly established board (March 2026) has a vision to grow the club beyond its former greatness. A series of amendments and improvements are to be expected shortly.
As of August of 2026, we are now a member of the Swedish Chess Federation. We have organised several tournaments for KTH students (and some externals) which seemed to be appreciated by the participants.
